The ICQV believes that better patient care depends upon the adoption of evidence-based treatment protocols, the implementation of advanced clinical technologies, and the use of state-of-the-art quality improvement techniques—and that these are all vastly accelerated by the proper alignment of economic incentives. Through our sponsorship of education and research in the areas of clinical integration, "pay-for-performance," and quality improvement, the ICQV is committed to a better American health care system.
